As soon as you sign up with an account with Smart Currency Exchange you will be assigned your own personal trader, available at the end of the phone every working day. But you can also meet him or her in person at one of the many property exhibitions and shows we attend around the country.

As part of our commitment to helping you buy abroad safely, Smart traders speak at many events. These include Your Overseas Home, the essential property show for people buying overseas. We also create webinars – a kind of online seminar – where we explain all the ins and outs of your home purchase and currency exchange.

Sharing our knowledge in person

The knowledge we’ve acquired about buying overseas property – and other international transactions – in the past decade is enormous. We want to share this with you.

Firstly, you will find us at property events across the UK alongside our partners, including Rightmove, Zoopla and Your Overseas Home. At Your Overseas Home you can attend seminars and speak to the team who will be making your transfers. These unique events give you the opportunity to get the answers to all those niggly questions. All are free to attend.

All events are accessible online and are easy to attend from the comfort of your living room.

We also write for websites and in magazines; all part of our plan to help as many overseas home buyers as possible to manage currency risks and avoid losing money.

These events allow us to explain the solutions that are available to help you manage your budget and the currency risks when you buy a property abroad. Our aim is to keep you safe when buying abroad, via a range of products such as a Forward Contract. This eliminates the risk of a currency movement during the buying process taking the price of your dream home in Europe, America or elsewhere away from you.
